Talk about experience, I went to the one in San Diego since it is closer to me! This was the best experience I have ever done. I am a true believer of trying things once and I will definitely be trying this again with friends! I felt completely safe with my pilot. The safety debriefing was extremely detailed once we took off. I felt comfortable with the information given to me. Each maneuver was extremely fun. Felt like a roller coaster, the lounge for my family and friends was beautiful and relaxing! But they missed out on the real FUN, in the Sky! I’m a huge fan of top gun so this was the closest I can get to those Maneuvers in the sky!! I went July 4th24, awesome awesomeness! I gave this 5 stars because only the pilot at San Diego worked so hard to keep this place running. He did everything by himself, technically, run this branch by itself ALONE. So, this 5-star is for him.

- False advertisement is real. The website stated that it lasts 3 hours, that is not real. 3 hours are included waiting period. We waited for almost 1.5 hours until the pilot to come out to pick us up. Then, when he dropped us at the hanger, we waited another 30 mn until we ready to run through some important guides including emergency protocol. The flight only last around 10 mn including taking off and landing.

- Experience: It was amazing experience. Taking off and landing also amazing as well. The maneuver were pretty insane given that this is a civilian aircraft. It is a once in a lifetime experience. $650/person, I would say it worth it, but not again.

I also like to mention the aircraft is pretty new. If anyone read this review, I also suggest to go sky diving before this. If you have experience with sky diving and what to expect, you might be less scare flying in this. Also, video footage they sell pretty much rip you off. I did not buy it because it is easily double the price of the ride.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! Everything about SCA is cool. The hanger is modern and clean. The pilots are super friendly, funny, and just seem like good guys to hang with.

The flight...words cannot adequately describe just how exhilarating and fun this is. Rollercoasters have nothing on this.

I will be back again and again.

This HAS to be on the official San Diego to do list.

As a kid i wanted to grow up flying F14s, but being color blind killed that dream. As an adult, it’s always in the back of your mind. Sky Combat Ace gives you a taste of what “could have been”. No, it’s not an F18 but this is simply a MUST DO!
The experience was so amazing! Barrel Rolls, loops, hammerheads, 4-8Gs!! Name it and you get to do it under the safety of your amazing pilot! I had the privilege of flying with Ian. Forget roller coasters or bungee jumping!

Freaking epic experience! If your thinking of trying it don't just do it! The afterburner was so worth it zero gravity felt so awesome! Exceeded my expectations ? My pilot Sub-Zero was awesome ice cold litteraly!

Tim "fungus" Denney was my pilot. You could feel his passion, he pumped me up to push me to my limits which I absolutely love. He gave me options to choose from and I never felt forced.

This place was absolutely amazing! The adrenaline rush was on par with bungee jumping. I highly recommend this experience to add to your bucket list. I purchased the photo package for $50 and was well worth it. This experience was a gift from my girlfriend and unexpected. An amazing gift.
