Having graduated from this college in 2023, sadly, I can't recollect any memorable moments and believe me, I'm not a 'Gajni.' Yes, I've collected all my results and certificate from UIT. Now that I've left, I'm writing this post, as doing so earlier might have been a bit self-sabotaging. Let's keep this post short as much as possible.
I took admission to UIT as a lateral student in the ECE department. At first impression, it was not good. 40k in cash was gone with the cashier's rude behavior, and that was on the first day. Understandable, maybe he was not in a good mood_whatever.
Our first three semesters were online, so you can understand nobody knows who you are. But you need to understand the rules of the game, and right here enters our first character, 'CR'—Class Representative. Their job is to represent the whole class; instead, (in my case) she represented only her group consisting of four of her best friends and one of her best male friend. Besides that group, there were also many groups, but all of them were considered 'rivals.' Right here enters our second character, 'HOD'—Head of the Department.
I bet you have seen enough people in your teenage years with different personas. Their face value is different from their inner value. At first glance, you would be mesmerized by their speeches, but soon you will realize it's part of a big game. As time progresses you can clearly see there also a crack between faculty members is like Northern and Southern hemisphere of earth and the crack represents the Equator. Right here enters our third character, 'FM'- Faculty Members.
What do you think the job of a faculty member or all of them? In my opinion (although it doesn't matter) they were there to provide 1) simplified, more understandable, practical knowledge 2) when you encounter any hurdle, you can reach out to them and have a good conversation and that's why a big chunk of money was taken from your account as a tution fee. But what you can see is that their first job is to 1) create an atmosphere of FEAR 2) just to somehow or someway complete the syllabus and it doesn't matter how well you got it (as it seems not their responsibility). But if you want to grasp the matter 'JOIN COACHING '. In that coaching you will be trained not just in subject matters but also which FM's feet you should lick to be considered superior in class. But yes, ofcourse there are EXCEPTIONS and will be.
Now take a look at our fourth character, 'SM' - Stuff Members. One of the bizarre and most rude section in this college are these stuffs. They get paid for to solve problems of the students in cases like financial/registration/migration/result related issues. But when you try to contact with them it's like you get paid for to solve their problems. Their most common sentences are - ''Cannot you see I'm already flooded with works, come after an hour " or "It's tiffin time" or if they're out of words they will simply ignore you.
Atlast take a look at our final character, 'PC' or Placement Cell and I'll try to conclude this post. See at the end of the day if you're rightly aligned with the market you will get a job. But the real problem starts thereafter. Are you satisfied with this job or not that's the decision you have to make. You can get a job through placement cell or central campusing but before that you need to do research on that company. There were many cases where my friends got placed but soon after they found out the company was fake as in India it still lacks strong IT rules and regulations.
So at the end of the day its your call either you want to take admission in this college or not. I have just shared my personal views in detail and they do not need to be taken seriously. Because everybody is different in their ideas or values or expressions. Have a great future ahead of you. Happy Learning!!
