An Honest American Review: Location--Not bad, but under major construction. Bed quality--good. Shower--hard to regulate temperature. Ability to sleep well--not great. Even in the executive suite I was awoken at 7:30 or 8:00 am every morning by slamming doors. Staff--Mostly kind and good/helpful. David was especially helpful and professional. Size--small. definitely won't be doing any yoga :). If it wasn't for the slamming doors and construction site just outside, if the price was a value, I would stay again.

The service and staff were okay, but the rooms are extremely outdated and horrible, and the entire area is surrounded by construction. The neighborhood also feels quite sketchy.

For the same price, we found much better hotels. The rooms look nothing like the photos, it seems like filters were used to make them appear newer and cleaner. Everything is old, the bathroom is awful, the shower was very dirty, and the toilet was terrible, clogging after just a couple of tissues. The overall cleanliness is highly questionable, I had itchy skin throughout my entire stay, and you could feel the dirtiness in the air. The atmosphere itself felt musty and unclean, making it really uncomfortable to be in the room for long.

Also, the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, and there isn’t even a proper door for the bathroom.

A truly horrible experience overall. Definitely do not recommend this place, choose another hotel instead!

As someone else previously mentioned the wifi in room is unusable. Not speed wise but unable to even get connected to a signal. Pathetic.The bathroom sink soap dispenser was empty upon arrival. If they state they take these reviews seriously and will do something ie the wifi then they are lying.This is supposed to be a upscale hotel but the simple things aren't working. Multiple reviews about the poor wifi in locations over months an no solution? This is simple to correct,maybe a better it department is needed. The picture below is the electrical box connection for the blow dryer in the bathroom. Really nice(not). As I can see I got the typical response of "concern" about my comments but I'm sure nothing will change. We plan to let our tour company know so maybe others can avoid this superior " hotel. Notice he never even mentioned any concern about the hair dryer electrical outlet hanging out the wall. Christian needs to do better ,lip service doesn't count.

We were with a tour of seniors. We requested 2 beds, got one bed. They put one of us in another room for a night, then set up a rollaway cot the next, then we got a 2 bed room for the last 2 nights. My friend changed rooms, packing up, 3 nights! Second: The hotel was filled with high school students every night, no supervision, running up and down the halls until 11 pm, sometimes even 3 am. Phoned front desk, they couldn't do anything. Where were the teachers? It's a central location right by a underground station, but don't recommend at all unless hordes of loud teens running up and down the halls to all hours is OK with you. Lastly, the opaque glass sliding door for the bathrooms need to go. No lock and they won't stay closed so no privacy at all.

Hotel room is ''tired''. The cleaning staff are very conscientious, but are working with old rooms. The room smells of rotting cabbage. The wifi is totally unusable and have resorted to a mobile connection; on discussion with Reception, the comment was that ''we are busy''. The aircon is totally useless and just pumps warm air in to the room and it is more effective to open the window; fortunately, it is cool outside, but I would not like to be here in the summer. Annoyingly, the aircon can't be turned off, so the fan whirrs away all night. This is a hotel that is well past its best and I would not visit again. I can't fault the staff at all, who do their best to cover over the poor quality of the hotel. The hotel management should feel ashamed!!

I cannot award this hotel any stars im afraid.
Rooms dated, air con not working, tvs not working, ,toilets and showers overflowing and flooding rooms, dirt in bed, not enough pillows, 3 rooms booked. All had problems. abused, threatened with arresst for complaining and asking for room changes and a 13 yesr old being left in a room alone when Manager removed the keys from us and then denied us access to the room to get my son back. Accused of being an alcoholic drunk, threatened with a night in the cells, i dont drink, i havent drunk alcohol in 14 years, we turned down an offer of a drink at the bar, then he exploded inti a rage., night manager shouting at us accussing us of attacking him, repeating over and over again im a drunk ive attacked him. Asked to speak to another member of staff to explain and to be able to get to my son. Staff member was told by manager to go sway. He said he had to do whst his boss said and walked off, i told manager to call the police and i will have him arrested for kidnap, he then gave us keycards back. Shocking behaviour, ruined my husbands 60th birthday
Noisy building works 7am till 10pm. Noisy drunks outside after that, they hang around the subway outside.

Room outdated, think 1980s era . 2 cups for 3 guests, 1 normal tea bag for 3 guests no coffee in room. Not enough pillows in hotel to have enough in room!!! We obv asked for more tea n coffee but manager laughed and said we want too much.
Lady manager following day was very shocked and apologised but as she said, what coild she do?
Supposed to be s 4 T rating hotel by tui… clearly not, travellodge has better standards

Everything was just fine and pleasant (yes construction, but that's beyond the hotel's control and its quiet in the evenings). But the fact that it was impossible to connect to the Wi-Fi outside of the front lobby is unacceptable in 2025 - especially for those of us who rely on Wi-Fi for work. From previous comments I can see this has been an issue for a while. I can only hope it will be fixed in the future for others.

Air conditioning didn’t work- 24 degrees in the room with the window open. Reported the issue and staff member came up and confirmed it wasn’t working and an engineer would fix it the next day- they didn’t so reported it again- same reply and next day it still wasn’t fixed. I also reported that I had no plug in the sink and that didn’t get fixed either. On top of this I had a huge crane outside my window that started early in the morning and that coupled with overlooking the train station meant that the noise was unbearable. |Before coming to the hotel I had stayed in a 2 star pension and it was far superior in all aspects. ||There is no gluten free cereal at all although bread and rolls are available if you ask, as is lactose free milk. I don’t understand why the milk can’t just be out beside the tea and coffee machine as sometimes I had to wait ages to find someone to get it.||The staff are friendly and generally helpful.
