I had a room for one person, which was spatious. Because it was under the roof it was very hot, however you did have a fan at your disposal. Seperate bathroom was big enough as well. It's a couple of hundred meters out of the city center. All in all you get value for money. Breakfast was ok.

My family and I enjoyed staying one night in this charming small hotel. We had a triple room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and it was spotless. It was a hot day but we were able to cool the room with the windows open and a few fans. The owners went above and beyond the call of duty by bringing us tea and biscuits to the room and driving us to the mineral baths and to the train station. Breakfast was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel. It is also well located.

We booked for a 5 package and stayed just after the re-opening for Corona virus. The hotel has friendly staff, but they need to make sure the Corona rules are followed. There are many Dutch retired people in this hotel, and they just do what they like. They walk inside the hotel without the face mask, the do not follow the walking direction rule and the hotel staff does not take action to correct this (the mask rule is there for my safety). Also , for breakfast, there is a list with food items you can order. We never had any of our breakfasts that we got what we ordered. Items were left out, wrong items were there. Parking and wifi were good. Unfortunately, our package included a welcome drink, but that was not offered to us. There is no lift in the hotel, so when your room is on the top floor, you need to carry it yourself . In the room, there is a note that you can leave your luggage at reception, and someone will bring it to your room. Unfortunately, you are already in your room when you read this.

If you like family hotels without steel and glass then this is a topper. The rooms are large and great if you just wish to relax. The rooms are warm and cosy. The beds are very comfortable. The food was of an excellent standard. The only down side was this hotel is not suitable if you have difficulty climbing stairs. Being a private hotel the front door is locked after a certain time and getting Mam up a steel spiral external staircase was NO fun. The wider internal staircase had so many steps that Mam almost did not cope. Being a smoker I was disappointed that there was nowhere except a wet and windy balcony, to enjoy my after dinner cigarette. Overall, a very enjoyable, comfortably [gezellig] hotel.

I was there staying there just for a night as I already had 36h of traveling behind me and needed a place to rest to take the east of the journey. I was greeted by a young nice lad from Italy. Everything was fine. The only thing which annoyed me a bit was that I had a lot of luggage and I needed a cab to get back to the train station. Unfortunately, no one there was able to order me one. First, i was told to just do it myself, when I said i don’t know a number they said just google it. Well I couldn’t use my phone there anyway so I asked her to do so. She tried 3 numbers which didn’t work and gave up so I had to carry over 50 of luggage all the way. That’s kinda disappointing. Please be aware that the hotel is closed from 10pm and after 8 you can’t get served anymore.

We were just stayed here for 1 night with my little baby. I like the middle door which connects 2 rooms, good for family or close friend to visit each other without going out from their own room.
Only one thing I was not so satisfy is, headboard (the head of the bed) is directly under the window, cold wind was blowing on our heads for the whole night.

This hotel has big rooms but lacks proper cleaning, the bathroom needs much more attention, although they claim it has been renovated in 2013, the toilet is black at the bottom and a very unpleasant view. The hotel closes down from 12:30 to 14:30, dining only from 6:30 to 7:30PM. The entrance is not very inviting. Personnel are friendly.
