The location is superb and the rooms are perfectly clean. These are the good parts. The hallways smell like poop (ventilation issue?). Lots of furniture is damaged in some way (dents, one of the reading lamps could not longer be adjusted). Some things are just poor quality (shower water pressure, window noise insulation, thermostat that requires an explanation to even tell where the buttons are). Front desk staff seemed to struggle with basic tasks like payment (bad software?).

Breakfast was quite disappointing for this price category. Eggs ran out and weren't restocked until I was already leaving. Long queues at the only working coffee machine. Juice and water come out of a single faucet ("beverage cloaca"), leading to plain still water having a bitter aftertaste from grapefruit juice that was dispensed earlier. Basics like orange juice and bacon are simply not available.

If you arrive by car, have a plan B available for parking. There are only 70 spots for 1200 beds, and about a third is reserved for EVs and disabled people, and you can't book spots in advance. We were lucky and got the last free spot.

If you're just looking for a place to crash after an event in nearby Olympia park, this place is perfect, as it is just a leisurely and safe walk away.

Horrible experience. Where to start...
Both rooms had faulty lighting. Repairman just flipped the breakers and the fault returned next night. In bathrooms there were noisy fans that ran all the time.
Breakfast... it was awful. Scrambled eggs from powder and meatball-like spam was a substitude of a warm meal. Low quality juice and coffe, mediocre ham and cheese. The jam was some kind of artificially dyed and flavoured sweet substance. You could see that they went cheap on the ingredients. Last day we ate almost nothing.
The staff was mostly ok but one lady in reception showed very clearly that she is in a bad mood, she literrally rolled her eyes in front of us and gave some strange remarks under her nose. I've never had such an experience with hotel staff in my life.
I hoped for a great stay and I am really amazed that this hotel has good reviews.

We stayed here for 2 nights (3 people) and the hotel truly exceeded our expectations.

Our room was spacious, quiet, and had an amazing view. The automatic blinds were a nice modern touch that made the stay even more comfortable.

For the price, I do wish the amenities were a bit better — larger towels, slippers in the room, and a more complete amenity kit (like full-sized shampoo).

That said, the breakfast more than made up for it. The selection was excellent, and even with the hotel fully booked during Oktoberfest, the large breakfast room accommodated everyone comfortably without feeling crowded.

The location is another huge plus: the metro station is right in front of the hotel, making it super convenient whether you’re in Munich for sightseeing, Oktoberfest, or business.

Overall, a great stay and one I would definitely recommend.

Overall was good. The room was clean; a towel had a small hole but that was ok. Maybe, you could add 1-2 glasses for us having some water in the bathroom. Some people in reception could be more friendly I think. For example, when I asked to have a receipt for the water in order to take the money back from my company, I was told that the company would not pay for this. I think his/her duty is only to give me the receipt showing pleasure, not trying to avoid it. Maybe I am wrong, but, at least this is what I felt. Moreover, in bistro, the quality of food was not so good in my personal opinion, especially for my sensitive digestive system. Maybe you could add some higher quality food, by charging a little more money.. Thank you.

Aweful service. Dude receptionists.
My parents stayed there during the festival. After they entered the room, they realised there were no glasses provided at all. They had called reception for 10 mins but no one answered ( it was afternoon).

They went downstairs to ask why there is no glasses? Is it the hotel policy that all room do not provide glass at all? Or maybe they forget to provide them? ( receptionists do not answer him at all! So? )

The receptionist ( woman, Caucasian works on Sep 25 afternoon shift) together with other two people in the reception asked my dad to go get the glass himself from kitchen ( is this a hostel?! ). If the glasses are not provided, pls kindly explain. My dad speaks perfect English.

I will not recommend this hotel at all.

This hotel is SUPER convenient to public transportation with a bus stop right out the front door, the U&S Bahn station entry also just steps out the door. We booked a family bunk room for four. Pro Tip: Ask for extra pillows immediately when you check in, there won't be enough of the extremely flat ones. The rooms are clean and provide plenty of floor space and shelves for storage. The showers are FULL size and newer and the sink area has room for our toiletries. The only warning to others who may have booked like us because they advertised "air conditioning".... The "A/C" is just a vent on the wall that barely pushes air. There were even instructions on how to set the "thermostat" to sell the whole illusion, but don't be fooled. We finally had the front desk come up and look at it, tell us what we were doing wrong or move us to another room, when they finally admitted that opening the windows was really our only option if we were hot. Luckily, we mostly stayed away in the heat of the day and returned at night when it was cooler and the ONE small window that would open, did provide some cooling relief. The common spaces ARE air-conditioned, so at least we could use those if needed. The FREE breakfast is awesome and offers much more than other hotels. And the convenient beer, wine, water, soda, snacks counter offered many choices for a quick grab and go. Would definitely book again for convenience and value but in a cooler month only.

We got a good price even during a Fair, the hotel is quite big. I missed having my room tidied during my 3 night stay. We arrived early and have been told quite stern that the checkin was after 3pm, even tough we just wanted to store our lugage until checkin. They also had issues providing the invoice at checkout, we got it later per email. The U3 station and bus station is in front of the entrance, this is a big plus for me. Small mold spots in the shower put me a little off, but i coud live with it.

I travel a lot for work and this was one of the best hotels I've been in Germany. The reception team are really nice, my room was very clean, quiet and the bed was very comfy.
The breakfast also was lovely, plenty of options, milk alternatives, and healthy options.
