One of the best gyms. Cleanest nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. Large showers. 60ft wall. aside from being near the airport with nothing else nearby, they do have plenty of parking. Do not pass this place up if you are in the area.

It's one of the best climbing places especially for lead/top-rope and its facilities. Ranging from yoga to sauna and a full workout gym, this place provides you everything you need including the climbing and bouldering.

The staff is super nice and friendly and always willing to lend a hand and help. The events they have are super fun and inclusive. The sauna is very hot and great and the services they provide is very good for the monthly payment you make compared to other regular gyms or even yoga studios.

I don't live near Sender One LAX but wish I did! The climbs here are challenging but rewarding, and the top rope area is way taller than other gyms.
Very spacious and relaxed environment. Staff are friendly and are great at hosting events. Shout out to Troy who did my belay test despite the influx of people, and was very encouraging.

What an adventure at Sender One LAX! As a first-timer, I didn’t quite know what to expect, but let me tell you, it was an absolute blast.

First off, the vibe is just right – welcoming, energy-buzzing, yet not too overwhelming. It’s the perfect spot for both beginners and seasoned climbers. My son, Xander, had been here once before, but this was my debut. And, despite being a bit of a climbing newbie, I felt right at home.

We were in Sender City, the kids’ side of the place. The routes are diverse and well-set, offering a mix of challenges that kept us engaged (and yeah, a bit sweaty). Speaking of challenges, I’m bracing myself to feel those climbs tomorrow – hello, muscle soreness! But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?

The highlight of our day, though, was meeting another family in the climbing community. Luna and her mom, Lauren, were not just fellow climbers; Luna, like Xander, also has Type 1. They were both there to celebrate their birthdays! We always love seeing a fellow T1D in the wild. First time we’ve met one with the same birthday as Xandy though. It’s moments like these that make places like Sender One more than just a climbing gym – it’s a spot where connections are made.

If you’re thinking of trying out rock climbing, or if you’re a seasoned climber looking for a great community, this is the place to be. Who knows, you might just bump into some amazing people or find a new passion. We’ll definitely be back – with each visit, Xander and I are determined to climb a little bit higher!

First time in a climbing center in 20+ years, brought our 5 year old here today for Sender City and she loved it. The back to school deal is awesome, we will be back and hope to get some grown up climbing in too.

I’ve been climbing at Sender One since 2017 and it’s been an amazing experience. I was new to climbing at the time, but never did I feel judged or anything for not knowing what I was doing lol. Since then I ended up working there during college bc I liked it so much!

The staff are always extremely friendly and they’ve become my community, and some my friends.

The bouldering, lead, and top rope options are always really solid. The middle large lead wall called “the torch” is an amazing section that is great for training for outdoor big rock.

Loved our first time climbing here! We got a very comprehensive lesson using their rental gear, and if we come back soon enough we can get our belaying card as long as we retain what we were taught. Then we could climb as long as we wanted after the lesson. They have a huge variety of routes (bouldering, top rope, and sport) and a VERY tall climbing wall! Great experience.

Staff are always so friendly and welcoming here. Facility is very secure and clean. And >90% of the routes are both technical and fun

Just took the accelerated lead climbing class with Keegan and thought it was 10/10

Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area
